ISG (Iron Sharpening Group)

Part of every faculty’s responsibility is to shepherd a small group for discipleship and mentoring. We will do 2 different weeks of ministry together in a few months and we meet together every week for accountability, discipleship, and development.  Christine and I are both leading groups this year. We’ll introduce her ISG in our next update if we can get a picture of them all together.

My group has been amazing. We have 7 guys currently from 6 countries. From left to right: Ben from the Philippines (Palawan), Jerry from Indonesia, Rajen from Napel, Kumar from India, me, Glen from the Philippines (Mindanao), and Gopal from Bhutan.  I’m enjoying getting to know the 1st year guys and continuing to shepherd the returning students.  Please pray for these leaders as God is doing so much in their lives.  There’s 2 pastors, 2 church planters, and 2 ccc staff. Facilitating such a multi-national and multi-ethnic group is challenging, but it’s pretty rich and rewarding too. This is where so much on the life on life impact can be made here!
