Typhoon Ruby (Hagupit)Well – we’ve been bracing for another super typhoon, but are encouraged that typhoon Ruby seems to be losing some steam. But there has been high anxiety in many parts of the Philippines, especially those areas hit hard by Yolanda. Please be praying that the typhoon continues to lose strength and that there would be no loss of life and major damage. The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall and in Manila that usually means significant flooding so there are multiple levels that this can cause damage. But we stored up on some supplies and while we are anticipating losing power at points, we should be fine.
